MOJO WORKOUT
Oh yeah friends... I do an Internet radio show with my pals Michael Kaiser, Greg Lonesome, South Bay PORKer Matt, and Jason Snyderbilly on Real Punk Radio.com on Fridays from 5pm-8pm (Pacific Time). LA is becoming stagnant again... I'm bored. What happened to rock n roll in LA? "Girl With the Big Hair" seems to be the only one doing rock n roll shows. There's plenty of "DJ nights" in LA... sure they can be fun, but what the fuck? I can drink beer at home and spin records. Plus from the few I've been to, the "clientele" is pretty lame.
I think I'm so bored that I think I'm going to put together a show or two this year. Stay tuned for more rock y roll.

REAL BOSS HOSS - 1996-2009
Hello friends,
I have decided to momentarily end Real Boss Hoss...
This was a long time coming (as those close to me know) and decided to just do it now...
I will probably have one last show later this year... we will then go into the memory banks.
It was a good run that Vito and I started back in 2003... The main reason we started doing shows was to bring some excitement back to LA... bring some of my favorite bands that no one was booking back to LA... Bands from my beloved San Francisco scene - The Phantom Surfers, The Flakes, The Bippies, etc. - my favorite local bands like Satan's Cheerleaders and The South Bay Surfers...
I would like to think that we shook up some stuff down here in dull Los Angeles for a few years and introduced many people to new bands and hopefully managed to infect some kids into starting new bands themselves... Unfortunately things seem to be going backwards now... Things seem be going back to how they were when we first kick-started Real Boss Hoss, but I don't have the energy or the health right now to continue the fight... I hope someone else picks up where I left off and continues the primitive rock n roll fight!!
I would like to thank all the bands who played Real Boss Hoss shows, the DJs who spun killer stuff, James Beck for always making a show fun, all the people who helped and supported the Real Boss Hoss shows with promotion, buying t-shirts, etc., making flyers and posters, the venues who gave us a chance to do our thing... it was fun!!

Now what?
Well friends... the BLOW OUT has come and gone. Now what? I'm not quite sure to be honest with you...
I'm taking a bit of a hiatus to recover, recoup, and refocus.
I'm in talks with a certain label on bringing out a very special band from Europe for their first West Coast tour ever... that won't be until summer time.
